The prequel takes players back to Emergence Day—the terrifying moment the Locust Horde first erupted from beneath the surface. Players will experience the origin story of Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they fight to survive humanity’s darkest day.

Fable Receives a Release Date

Just one week after Microsoft’s delay announcement, Fable officially received a new release date of February 23, 2027.

The latest trailer introduced Isabel, the Hero of Wraithmarsh, a key new character in Playground Games’ reimagining of the beloved RPG franchise.

Like Microsoft’s other first-party titles, Fable will launch directly into Xbox Game Pass.

Halo Campaign Evolved Brings New Missions

One of Xbox’s most anticipated upcoming releases returned during the showcase with a new look at Halo Campaign Evolved, which launches on July 28, 2026.

Set fifteen years before the events of the original A Plague Tale, players take control of Sophia as she explores a mysterious island filled with ancient myths, dangerous secrets, and supernatural threats.

The new gameplay emphasized exploration, puzzle-solving, and the cinematic storytelling the series is known for.

Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 Revealed

Atlus had a major presence during the showcase.

Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027, bringing a full modern remake of the classic RPG with enhanced visuals, gameplay improvements, updated systems, and quality-of-life features.

After its previous reveal, inXile Entertainment returned with an extended look at Clockwork Revolution, one of Xbox’s most ambitious upcoming role-playing games.

The new trailer introduced players to Morgan’s gang, the Rotten Row Hooligans, while offering a deeper look at the game’s steampunk-inspired world and the growing conflict against the ruthless Lady Ironwood.

Developed by inXile Entertainment, Clockwork Revolution combines first-person RPG gameplay with time-manipulation mechanics that allow players to alter historical events and see the consequences ripple throughout the world.

Microsoft also confirmed that Clockwork Revolution remains an Xbox console exclusive and will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass when it arrives in 2027.

Crazy Taxi Makes a Comeback

SEGA officially announced Crazy Taxi: World Tour, an all-new entry in the legendary arcade driving franchise.

The new installment expands the formula globally, bringing players to cities around the world while maintaining the fast-paced gameplay that made the series famous.

The next chapter in the Metro franchise is officially on the way.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Shows New Extraction Mode

Activision revealed a new extraction-based experience for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

Players will deploy alone or with a squad into dangerous conflict zones to recover advanced military technology left behind after global warfare.

Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026.

Launching on October 15, 2026, this sequel to Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse follows Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, in a new gothic adventure blending classic gameplay with modern mechanics.

Arriving in March 2027, this darkly comedic open-world cooperative experience allows players to build a cult, recruit followers, and prepare for an impending apocalypse.

Magicians: The Devil’s Deal

A narrative-driven first-person action game set in a twisted version of Victorian London. The title launches directly into Xbox Game Pass.

Spyro: A Realm Beyond

The beloved purple dragon returns in a brand-new adventure featuring larger worlds, expanded exploration, and true free-flight gameplay. It will be available through Xbox Game Pass.

Senua

Ninja Theory revealed a new standalone action-adventure experience set in the Hellblade universe. Launching in 2027, the game follows Senua through a haunting vision of purgatory as she fights to reunite with those she has lost.

Valor Mortis

Launching on September 24, 2026, Valor Mortis blends dark fantasy and Napoleonic warfare in an action-focused adventure. The game will be available through Xbox Game Pass.

Vivarium

Inspired by classic anime films and television series, Vivarium is a life-simulation adventure coming in 2027.

Where Winds Meet Available Today

One of the show’s surprise launches was Where Winds Meet, which is available on Xbox starting today.

Set in 10th-century China, the open-world action RPG allows players to forge their own martial arts path while exploring a vast historical setting.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Announced for 2027

Team NINJA officially revealed Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the sequel to its action RPG inspired by Chinese history and mythology.

Scheduled to launch in early 2027, the new adventure takes place following the events of the original game and once again blends fantasy elements with the late Eastern Han period of Chinese history. Players will step into the role of a nameless champion as they battle both human enemies and supernatural demons across large-scale battlefields.

The reveal trailer showcased intense combat, powerful abilities, and several massive enemy encounters, building upon the fast-paced action that helped the first game develop a dedicated following.

Microsoft also confirmed that Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Sea of Thieves – Custom Seas

The Elder Scrolls Online

ESO’s newest update brings a fresh Thieves Guild storyline, sea-based activities, new rewards, and additional challenges beginning on July 8.

Fallout 76: Infestations

Available now, the free update introduces dangerous new enemies, updated locations, and new four-star legendary weapon and armor modifications.

Xbox Celebrates 25 Years with Limited Edition Hardware

During the showcase, Microsoft unveiled a special Xbox 25th Anniversary Collection.

The centerpiece is the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition, featuring a translucent design inspired by the original Xbox console and its iconic green color scheme.

Microsoft also revealed the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition, which incorporates elements from every Xbox generation, including the original ABXY colors and design references to the classic Duke controller.
